Some background information on Rosa Parks,
Rosa Louise McCauley was born on February, 4, 1913, in the town of Tuskegee in Alabama. The parents of Rosa were named James and Leona McCauley. Her father James was a carpenter and her Mother Leona was a teacher, Rosa was the very small kid of the family, She would always be sick at the young age she was.Rosa was home schooled by her mother she never attended to a public school in till the age of 11. She went to an all girls school, at the school Rosa went to she had to have different rights then the whites and African Americans had they had to use different bathrooms and use different transportation, also the water fountains they used. When she went to that school she took academic classes. Rosa's education was at the University of Alabama . She had an education of High Lander Research and Education of Alabama,Parks was awarded with Congressional Gold Medal Of Honor, Also awarded with Presidential Medal Of Freedom.Rosa later on her life married her spouse named Raymond Parks. Rosa died in the year of 2005 she died on the day of October 24 2005 in Detroit.
